System tray is a part of Windows operating system since Windows 95 released over twenty years ago. It’s located on the right side of Windows Taskbar and contains miniature icons to quickly access some function, like a printer, volume level, internet, USB, and other programs. In Windows 10, I have my taskbar set to large. My taskbar shortcuts show up correctly, but my system tray icons show up small. I have already tried rebooting, moving my taskbar to the left side and back to the bottom and rebuilding my icon cache. None have worked. The only temporary fix I have found is to change my scale to 125% and back to 100%. But default, Windows 10 hides new icons in a special tray in order to keep the taskbar clean. All the new icons are hidden in a panel which can be opened by clicking on the up arrow icon as shown below. If you have a wide screen or small number of icons, it will be useful to have them visible all the time.
